Job summary

Apple, Inc. in Seattle is seeking a machine learning research engineer to advance diffusion and autoregressive generative models.

You will apply state-of-the-art research to real products, from training large-scale models to on-device optimizations, shaping user experiences across Apple devices. You will collaborate with researchers and engineers, publish in top venues when possible, and help push the boundaries of generative AI while fitting Apple's ecosystem.

Qualifications

• M.S. or PhD in Computer Science or a related field such as Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience working on training and fine-tuning modern image / video generation models
• Experience working in an academic or industrial research environment
• Proficient in an ML framework such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX
• Excellent communication skills and an ability to drive clarity in ambiguous circumstances
