Job summary

Google LLC is seeking a Customer Solutions Engineer to design Generative AI solutions on Google Cloud for enterprise customers in Austin, TX. The role involves building prototypes, optimizing models, and delivering scalable ML architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field with 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Customer Solutions Engineer-related occupation.
• Alternative: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field with 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a Customer Solutions Engineer-related occupation.
• Experience with applied machine learning techniques using VertexAI and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience training and fine-tuning large-scale models with accelerators and designing ML data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Advise customers on business objectives to design Generative AI solutions using the Google Cloud stack.
• Develop application prototypes, tune models for performance, and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Engineer end-to-end solutions by scoping requirements, writing production-quality code, and ensuring policy compliance.
• Create reusable assets like scripts and templates to accelerate adoption for customers and internal teams.
• Collaborate with product/strategy teams to advocate for enterprise customer requirements and drive enablement.
