Job summary

GEI seeks an AI Engineer to develop, deploy, and integrate AI capabilities into business workflows using pretrained models and Copilot technologies. You will work hands-on to implement AI solutions, connect enterprise data sources, and ensure production readiness and scalable performance across use cases.

The role requires building AI-based systems with an emphasis on security, reliability, and cost control, while collaborating with solution architects and platform teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 1 year building Generative AI applications.
• Experience with Generative AI Large Language Models (LLMs) and domain-specific fine-tuning.
• Proficiency in Python, PySpark, R, or SQL.
• Experience delivering Generative AI solutions, preferably on Azure.
• Familiarity with Azure AI library APIs (GPT, Codex, DALL·E) andDatabricks Mosaic for integrating Generative AI into workflows.
• Knowledge of Spark, Databricks; TensorFlow and PyTorch are a plus.
• Knowledge of Azure cloud services and integration with ML workflows.
• Familiarity with AI ethics, bias mitigation, explainability, and responsible AI.
• Security best practices for AI solutions (encryption, access control).
• Azure or Databricks certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy AI-based solutions using pretrained models and Copilot technologies.
• Design and implement prompt flows, plugins, and orchestrations using Copilot Studio and Azure Functions.
• Integrate AI capabilities into business workflows and applications.
• Integrate enterprise data sources securely (APIs, Graph connectors, RAG, event-driven patterns).
• Maintain and optimize Power BI dashboards that support AI-enabled workflows.
• Instrument AI solutions for telemetry, reliability, and cost monitoring.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for deployed AI solutions.
• Identify risks and support mitigation with architecture and platform teams.
