Job summary

Cogniify is hiring a Google Cloud AI Engineer to build and deploy Generative AI applications and AI agents that work with real business data. In this hands-on role, you will use Vertex AI, Python and BigQuery to take solutions from design to production.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, connect AI applications to enterprise data, ensure security, and optimize models and pipelines using Dataflow or Apache Beam for real-time inference.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building and deploying Generative AI on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with Vertex AI, Agent Builder, pipelines or model evaluation.
• Strong Python and SQL skills with experience using BigQuery.
• Experience with Google Cloud Storage and production model serving via Vertex AI endpoints.
• Ability to integrate AI apps with enterprise data while managing security.
• Ownership of delivery from understanding the problem through deployment and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy AI agents using Vertex AI Agent Builder and ADK, including multi-agent workflows.
• Connect AI applications to BigQuery and other enterprise databases via secure APIs.
• Develop retrieval-augmented generation and grounding workflows with business data.
• Write Python services and BigQuery SQL for data preparation and AI apps.
• Train, evaluate and deploy models on Vertex AI; serve endpoints.
• Use Google Cloud Storage and Dataflow or Apache Beam for data pipelines and real-time inference.
• Test AI output quality and protect PII.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and explain technical decisions.
