Job summary

Interon IT Solutions is seeking a hands-on Generative AI Engineer to develop AI-powered enterprise and healthcare products. The ideal candidate has built LLM applications and has experience deploying applications on AWS or another cloud platform.

This onsite role in Chantilly, VA requires 1–5 years in software/AI, strong Python and REST API skills, and experience with RAG, embeddings, and AI agents. Collaboration with product and engineering teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of experience in software development, AI/ML, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Build Generative AI applications using LLM APIs and Python.
• Develop RAG solutions that retrieve information from documents, databases, and other enterprise sources.
• Create AI agents and automated workflows with tool calling and API integrations.
• Build backend services and REST APIs using FastAPI or a similar framework.
• Implement embeddings, vector search, prompt design, structured outputs, and guardrails.
• Test applications for response quality, accuracy, latency, security, and cost.
• Deploy, monitor, and improve applications in a cloud environment.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver production-ready features.
