Nexus MedPro Staffing seeks an experienced Medical Technologist/MLS/CLS for a long-term contract at Central Alabama VA Medical Center in Montgomery, AL. The role covers generalist lab testing across disciplines, instrument maintenance, and timely reporting of results.

The candidate must have 1+ year generalist MT/MLS/CLS experience, ASCP/AMT certification, a biology-related bachelor's degree, and completed clinical practicum, with day shifts available.

Qualificações

• Generalist MT/MLS/CLS experience across core lab disciplines.
• Board certification MT/MLS/CLS (ASCP/AMT) required.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant science field and clinical practicum completed.
• Experience with QC, calibration, proficiency testing, and regulatory docs.

Responsabilidades

• Perform generalist testing in Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Blood Bank, Immunology, Urinalysis.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot lab instruments.
• Ensure accurate, timely reporting of results with proper documentation.
• Prioritize workload and support continuous lab coverage; rotate weekends.
