Job summary

Andrews Distributing in Allen, TX is seeking a General Warehouse Worker to move product throughout our state-of-the-art distribution center. You will load, unload, and stage beer and spirits using a forklift or pallet jack, ensuring accurate loads and efficient workflow.

The role requires standing for long periods, basic math, and reading English. We offer weekly pay, paid vacation and sick time, a 401(k) match, Nike uniforms, and comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to read and understand English.
• Basic math comprehension.
• High School graduate or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

• Move product throughout the distribution center using a forklift or pallet jack.
• Load, unload, and stage beer & spirits efficiently.
• Accurately checks and verifies all loads.
• Keep equipment and work area clean and organized at all times.
• Perform proper product rotation and handle damaged returns as needed.

General Warehouse Worker is responsible for moving product throughout the distribution center driving a forklift or riding a pallet jack.

Bottom line... You'll be loading, unloading, and staging BEER & SPIRITS in our state-of-the-art distribution center!!

Here's more of what you will do... (Okay, not all in one day!)

• Accurately checks and verifies all loads
• Keeps equipment and work area clean and organized at all times
• Performs proper product rotation
• Properly handles damaged product and product returns

Physical Requirements & Essential Functions

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to pull/push a load up to 70 lbs.
• Requires heavy and repetitive lifting/placement of products.
• Ability to operate facility equipment required for role.
• Hand-eye coordination and fine manipulation skills are necessary to operate various facility machinery and equipment.
• Ability to perform job functions in compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety policies and best practices.
• Potential candidates are required to successfully complete a medical evaluation including a physical evaluation designed to test ability to perform basic physical job requirements.
