Job summary

Arhaus is seeking dedicated individuals for our weekend distribution center team. General Warehouse Associate IIs handle all aspects of receiving, storing, and distributing merchandise to support the business.

Shift runs Friday to Sunday from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Responsibilities include pulling, loading, receiving shipments, and processing returns, with emphasis on accuracy, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must lift 150 lbs, with or without accommodations.
• HS diploma/GED required.
• 1–2 years of distribution/warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Comfort with repetitive movements.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships and work with others.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Working knowledge of computer programs.
• Understanding of general distribution/warehousing processes and procedures.
• Willing to adjust schedule and hours for business needs/overtime.
• Demonstrated initiative and self-starting attitude.
• Maintain integrity and honesty in all actions.

Responsibilities

• Pull and Pick – operate power mobile material handling equipment; retrieve items for delivery or staging inventory.
• Load – load furniture into trucks for delivery to hubs, stores and customer homes.
• Receive – receive shipments from across the globe, inspect, unload and rack in distribution center.
• Package – handle returns from stores and customers, and rack within distribution center.

• Load – Load furniture into trucks for delivery to hubs, stores and customer homes
• Receive – Receive shipments from across the globe, check furniture and accessories shipments, unload, and rack in distribution center
• Package – Handle returns from stores and customers, and rack within distribution center

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift 150lbs with or without accommodations
• High school diploma/GED
• 1 - 2 years of experience in a distribution and/or warehouse setting preferred
• Ability to perform tasks in a standing position for extended periods of time
• Comfortability with repetitive movements
• Ability to build respectful and effective working relationships, and collaborate with others to achieve common goals
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Working knowledge of computer programs
• Understanding of general work practices in distribution and/or warehousing, including unloading, loading, picking, packing, and shipping/receiving processes and procedures
• Willing to adjust schedule and hours as needed to accommodate business needs/overtime
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and act as a self-starter
• Maintain a high degree of integrity and honesty, and ability to show consistency between words and actions
