About this position

DiVal Safety Equipment, a leader in the industrial safety, Fire, and EMS distribution business, is looking for a full‑time General Warehouse Associate with a “whatever it takes” attitude. The main responsibilities of this position are to pick/pack orders and deliver them to our customers in an accurate and efficient manner with safety being a priority.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Always focus on safety – safety training and direction must be always adhered to.
• Various Warehouse activities, including but not limited to picking, packing, shipping orders, receiving inventory, and putting stock away.
• Prepare and submit all necessary daily paperwork in a timely manner as required.
• Complete cleaning and maintenance duties as directed.
• Report any existing or potential safety concerns to management.
• Report directly to the Warehouse Supervisor in alignment with other members of the management team.
• Perform additional duties that may arise and be assigned by management.

Skills and Requirements

• Ability to pass a NON‑DOT physical with drug screen.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Detail oriented and self‑motivated.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
• Experience with warehouse equipment including forklifts, electric pallet trucks, elevated work platforms, and manual pallet jacks. (Preferred)
• Experience with handheld equipment, such as RF scanners, palm devices, and/or tablets. (Preferred)
• Basic computer skills a must, AS400 experience a plus.
• High school diploma / GED equivalent.
