Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a General Warehouse Associate in Morehead, KY to join a fast-paced distribution center. You will support unloading, packing, loading, and shipping while maintaining safety and accuracy.

The role requires the ability to lift 70 lbs and stand for long periods, with 1 year of warehouse experience preferred. We offer competitive pay, a 3rd shift differential, bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.

As a General Warehouse Associate, you’ll get to make a difference in a fast-paced distribution center.

Current Shifts include:

1st Shift Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (five 8-hour shifts)

3rd Shift Monday-Thursday 7:00 PM – 5:30 AM (four 10-hour shifts)

Qualification/Basic Job Requirements:

• Work safely, quickly and efficiently handing freight and inventory throughout the warehouse
• Ensure accurate processing, packing, loading and shipping of freight
• Check merchandise to ensure that shipment is accurate and merchandise is not damaged.
• Unload trailers by hand and with pallet jacks and other equipment as needed
• Assist in various receiving duties
• Assist in other general warehouse duties on an as needed basis
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. frequently
• Ability to stand, walk, lift and load boxes 8+ hours
• Team players
• At least 1yr of previous warehouse experience
