Ajinomotocareers is seeking workers to monitor and assist on a production line in a facility in the United States. You will spread, inspect, and pack product on a continually moving conveyor, using pallets and pallet jacks as needed.

The role requires standing at a conveyor, following safety rules, and keeping the area clean. OT is often available, and training on PPE and GMPs will be provided.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable and self-driven.
• Palletjack certification for certain production workers.

Aufgaben

• Monitor and participate in spreading, inspecting, and packing products on a moving conveyor.
• Use both hands to spread and inspect goods.
• Remove scrap product from conveyor and place in inedible barrel.
• Pack products into boxes weighing 9–35 pounds as they run on the conveyor.
• Close and tape boxes and stack them on skids up to 4–6 ft high.
• Move pallets to the freezer area using pallet jacks.
• Report any product issues to the lead/manager/supervisor.
• Work as a team under the supervisor of the lead.
• OT is often available.
• Sweep/clean the production area when the line is down.
• Follow all safety rules and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with GMP, SSOP, SOP, HACCP, SQF, and Quality requirements.

Position Summary

Monitor the production process by spreading, inspecting and packing product.

Position Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Must use both hands
• Will be standing by a continually moving conveyor to spread and inspect goods
• Remove scrap product from both sides of convey or belt and put into inedible barrel
• Product is packed off on a running conveyor into boxes weighing 9 to 35 pounds depending on product
• Boxes are then pushed down a running conveyor from scale, closed and pushed through tape machine and stacked on skids to a height of between 4-6 ft
• Product is then transferred to freezer by use of palletjacks
• Report any issues with product to lead/manager/supervisor
• Work as a team under supervisor of lead
• OT is often available
• When line is down sweep/clean production area
• Follow all safety rules and regulations per established company policies
• Perform all other duties as assigned
• Follows established equipment Lockout/Tagout procedures as required

Employee Safety Responsibilities

• Report all injuries, unsafe conditions, unsafe acts and horseplay
• Use proper lifting techniques
• Use mechanical assistance (handjack, forklift, manlift)
• Use personal assistance (buddy)
• Use handrails
• Use and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

Temperatures throughout plant average 50 degrees. Required to wear hairnet, smock, boots, ear plugs, gloves, plastic sleeves, and aprons provided by the Company. Need to comply with Food Safety: GMP’S, SSOP, SOP, HACCP, SQF, and Quality requirements.
