Job summary

Aramark is seeking a General Maintenance Technician to handle facility maintenance with a strong emphasis on plumbing in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Typical shift is 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM with after-hours on-call for emergencies.

Responsibilities include building maintenance, preventative tasks, plumbing repairs, and using work orders/CMMS systems. Strong customer service and safety adherence are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of experience in general maintenance with hands-on plumbing experience.
• Working knowledge of plumbing systems, building maintenance, and basic mechanical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance independently and repair tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; CMMS experience is a plus.

• Troubleshoot and respond to maintenance issues to minimize disruptions.
• Report major repair needs and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain a strong customer service focus and support internal teams.
• Follow safety policies and proper PPE usage.
• Maintain records of maintenance work through work orders/CMMS systems.

Job Description

The General Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a wide range of facility maintenance and repair tasks within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role includes a strong focus on plumbing systems, along with general building maintenance support to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.

This position works a primary shift of 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM and requires on-call availability after hours and weekends for emergency support.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance, including plumbing, minor electrical, HVAC support, and repairs.
• Inspect facilities regularly and complete preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment and systems remain in safe working condition.
• Repair and maintain plumbing systems, including fixing leaks, replacing pipes, clearing drains, and maintaining fixtures.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance checklists and work orders.
• Troubleshoot and respond to maintenance issues in a timely manner to minimize operational disruptions.
• Report major repair needs and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain a strong customer service focus, supporting internal teams and responding to facility needs.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work through work order/CMMS systems.
• Payrate: $20 - $21.53 Per Hour

• Working knowledge of plumbing systems, building maintenance, and basic mechanical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance and repairs independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with work order systems or CMMS is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade training preferred.
