Responsibilities include clinical services in surgical pathology (including on‑call duty), service on departmental and hospital committees, and teaching and mentoring of medical students, residents, and fellows.

The position serves UCI Health’s needs, which include the 400‑plus bed Douglas Hospital (state‑of‑the‑art tertiary/quaternary care), a new hospital and outpatient complex on the Irvine campus, and several community hospitals and outpatient clinics throughout Orange County.
