Upland Hills Health in Dodgeville, WI is seeking a part-time General Surgery Triage & Clinical Support Registered Nurse (RN) to provide triage, care coordination, patient education, and direct nursing support in the Specialty Clinics.

The role encompasses telephone triage, in-clinic assistance, and cross-coverage for other clinic services. Wisconsin RN license and CPR certification are required; 0.5 FTE day shift with no weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license with current CPR certification.
• 1+ year of nursing experience; ambulatory or surgical preferred.
• Clinic, outpatient, or triage experience preferred.
• Strong nursing assessment and decision‑making skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient concerns and determine urgency using triage protocols.
• Manage incoming calls, MyChart messages, and patient inquiries for care services.
• Use established protocols and ClearTriage to evaluate symptoms and guide care access.
• Evaluate pre/post-operative concerns and coordinate appropriate dispositions.
• Document assessments and interventions in the EHR.
• Support providers with urgent patient needs and cross-coverage as needed.
• Schedule urgent or high-priority appointments and manage refills.
