Northeast Healthcare Recruitment is seeking a General Surgery Physician for a community-based surgical team in Sonora, CA. You will evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients needing surgical care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary health care team.

The role involves performing general surgical procedures, providing perioperative care, and participating in quality improvement initiatives. California medical license eligibility and DEA registration are required.

Formación

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery.
• Eligible for or able to obtain a California medical license.
• Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients requiring surgical care.
• Perform general surgical procedures and provide pre- and postoperative care.
• Conduct consultations and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Manage inpatient and outpatient surgical patients.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and other health care professionals.
• Respond to surgical emergencies as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
