Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our General Surgery team in South Jersey. This is a full-time, employed role spanning inpatient and outpatient surgical settings, providing high-quality, patient-centered care across multiple locations.

The PA will perform outpatient evaluations, inpatient management, and perioperative care, including first assist responsibilities. Collaborate with surgeons and APPs to deliver excellent surgical outcomes in a supportive environment.

• Assist in admissions, rounds, and surgical scheduling as needed.
• Collaborate with surgeons, APPs, nurses, and support staff to ensure patient-centered care.

This is a full-time, employed position with VMG, providing care across our inpatient and outpatient surgical practice locations in South Jersey.

Our team of board-certified surgeons and advanced practice providers delivers high-quality, patient-centered surgical care, treating a broad spectrum of acute and elective general surgery conditions. The Physician Assistant will play an integral role in the continuum of surgical care, including outpatient evaluations, inpatient management, first assist responsibilities, and perioperative patient care.

Compensation

The starting salary for this position is $131,250.00 annually

The actual compensation package may vary based on the candidate's experience, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
