Job summary

Aurora Health Care in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin invites a General Surgeon to join our growing team at the new Medical Center. The role offers full breadth of general surgery, a collaborative environment, and access to an experienced staff.

You'll operate with modern facilities, a 1:3 call schedule with 1:6 on weekends, and support from RNs, MAs and APPs. The center uses EPIC EMR and DAX Copilot to streamline notes while maintaining patient care.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited General Surgery residency program.
• Fellowship training is not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide the full breadth of general surgery in a collaborative hospital setting.
• Maintain a manageable call schedule (1:3 with weekends 1:6).
• Collaborate with RNs, MAs and APPs to deliver high-quality patient care.

• Robust, full time general surgery position which replaces a retiring surgeon


• Located in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, surgeries will be done at our newer Medical Center in Mount Pleasant, a 60-bed, Level III community hospital

• Serving a growing area, your patient draw will allow you to have a robust, fulilling practice

• Excellent support staff with RNs, MAs and 3 shared APPs, all of which ensures an efficient practice and optimal patient care


• Call schedule includes a manageable 1:3 with weekend call, 1:6
