The role focuses on inpatient general surgery with limited operating room duties, offering 10-hour shifts (4 per week) and a schedule with every 3rd weekend built in.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Eligibility for Minnesota licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• CPR certification is required.
• Must be able to treat all ages.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient assessments and diagnoses.
• Initiate appropriate care and monitor outcomes throughout the continuum of care.
• Collaborate with physicians and exercise independent clinical judgment with patient- and family-centered care.
• Inpatient general surgery focus with limited operating room responsibilities.
