Twin County Regional Healthcare in Galax, Virginia is seeking an employed, full-time General Surgery Physician Assistant to join a busy rural surgical team.

You will assist with sutures and minor lumps and bumps, care for about 18 patients per day, and enjoy a flexible 4–5 day workweek with a comprehensive recruitment package including base salary with wRVU incentives, CME allowance, sign-on bonus, relocation support, and paid malpractice coverage.

Position Details

Twin County Regional Healthcare, a Duke Lifepoint Hospital in Galax, Virginia (60 min from Winston-Salem and 90 min from Roanoke) is growing with the addition of an employed, full-time General Surgery PA to strengthen our established team. Those who are currently practicing or are currently in training will be considered.

• Currently the office has one provider; he is the only general surgeon in the community and he is extremely busy
• Sutures and minor lumps and bumps
• Average patients/day is 18
• Flexible schedule but looking for 4-5 days a week
