Job summary

Woman’s Hospital in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Surgeon to join a well-established practice. The role focuses on diverse, high-quality general surgery with strong collaboration with OB/GYN and breast oncology teams, performing robotic and minimally invasive procedures.

The successful candidate will work primarily at Woman’s Hospital, with Robotic systems available for complex abdominal and pelvic cases, and will benefit from a supportive work environment

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in General Surgery required.
• Robotic surgery capabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of general surgery procedures.
• Collaborate with OB/GYN, GYN oncology and breast surgery teams.
• Provide high-quality patient care and participate in multidisciplinary care.
