MedStar St. Mary's Hospital in Leonardtown, MD, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible General Surgeon to join a broad elective and emergency general surgery practice within the MedStar Health system.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited General Surgery residency program.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in General Surgery.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Maryland.
• Interest or experience in minimally invasive and robotic surgery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide elective and emergency general surgery.
• Perform hernia repairs, gallbladder procedures, and other abdominal operations.
• Collaborate with surgical colleagues and hospital teams.
• Participate in a shared general surgery call schedule.
• Support practice development and access for patients in Southern Maryland.
