Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a General Surgeon at Riverton Hospital to provide PRN call coverage with a collaborative team and access to advanced surgical technology, including robotics.

You will care for bread-and-butter general surgery cases with strong OR and nursing support, while pursuing weekend call coverage and potential extra shifts at additional contracted rates. Credentialing and licensure are required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in General Surgery.
• Active, unobstructed Utah medical license or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour call coverage at Riverton Hospital for seven shifts per month, including weekends.
• Potential additional call beyond seven shifts per month at an additional contracted rate.
• Optionally 0.5–1 clinic day per week for follow-up visits.
