Job summary

University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health (UMUCH), part of the University of Maryland Medical System, seeks a Surgeon to support its General Surgery program at the Bel Air campus. Join a team of four general surgeons, including colorectal and bariatric specialists, along with three PAs, performing minimally invasive and robotic procedures with a manageable call schedule.

The position offers strong clinical support, EPIC implementation, sign-on and relocation options, and robust benefits

Qualifications

• MD license in Maryland or eligibility to practice in Maryland.
• Board eligible or board certified in General Surgery.
• Minimally invasive and robotic surgical skills required.

Responsibilities

• Join a group of 4 General Surgeons (1 Colorectal/General Surgery) and 2 Bariatric/General Surgery providers with 3 PAs.
• Perform and supervise general surgery procedures with minimally invasive and robotic techniques.
• Manage a 1 in 7 call schedule with a balanced work–life rhythm.
• Operate at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, Bel Air, MD, with strong administrative and in-office support.
