Job summary

Riverview Regional Medical Center, LLC in Gadsden, Alabama is seeking a BE/BC General Surgeon to join our employed surgical team. The successful candidate will provide general surgical care including oncology cases (oncology experience preferred) and share call duties with our team.

The office is located in Gadsden, about one hour from Birmingham; you will cover only one hospital and contribute to a patient-centric surgical program in a community hospital setting.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board eligibility or board certification in general surgery required.
• Must be able to obtain Alabama medical license and DEA license.

Responsibilities

• Provide bread-and-butter general surgery including oncologic cases (oncology experience preferred).
• Share call duties with the surgical team.
• Office located in Gadsden, AL, approximately one hour from Birmingham.
• Cover only one hospital as part of the employed team.
