Job summary

Britt Medical in Norton, VA is seeking BE/BC General Surgeon to serve its patient population. The draw area covers 75,000 to 100,000 people in Southwest Virginia and neighboring Kentucky, supported by a 10-physician primary care network for referrals.

The facility recently invested $12 million in surgery with four modern operating rooms and a $16.5 million renovation of ER and related services. The ideal candidate will have general bread-and-butter surgery experience with advanced laparoscopic

Qualifications

• Board-eligible or board-certified within five years of residency.
• General bread & butter surgery experience with advanced laparoscopic skills.
• Minimally invasive skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform general surgical procedures and patient care in a hospital setting.
• Participate in a broad referral network supplied by a local PCP group.
• Contribute to the ongoing expansion and use of the hospital's OR and ER facilities.
