Job summary

Addison Kenway & Associates, LLC seeks a General Surgeon for a busy, hospital-employed practice in east-central Mississippi. Join an established surgical team at a Level III trauma center with a 312-bed hospital and participate in a 1:4 call rotation.

The ideal candidate will perform a broad range of general surgical procedures, hold an MD or DO with residency, and be committed to safe, evidence-based patient care with excellent communication within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Board certification or board eligibility in General Surgery.
• Active Mississippi medical license or eligibility to obtain state licensure.
• MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited General Surgery residency program.
• Strong clinical judgment and surgical proficiency with safe, evidence-based patient care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with surgeons, specialists, and hospital staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive general surgical care including consultations, diagnostics, operative procedures, and perioperative management.
• Coordinate with an established team to maintain high clinical standards and participate in a 1:4 call rotation.
