Job summary

CompHealth in Bentonville, AR is seeking a general surgeon for an ongoing assignment with scheduled clinical hours and call. You will care for an adult population across inpatient and outpatient settings, perform general surgery and laparoscopic procedures, and provide GI endoscopy including colonoscopy.

A beeper call 1:1 with a 30-minute response time is expected. We offer weekly pay, complimentary housing and travel, comprehensive malpractice coverage, and streamlined credentialing.

Qualifications

• General surgeon with capability in laparoscopic techniques.
• Experience delivering care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Competent in GI endoscopy, including colonoscopy.
• Trauma and vascular surgery experience preferred when applicable.
• Adult patient population care emphasis.

Responsibilities

• Perform general surgery procedures including laparoscopic techniques.
• Provide care for patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Perform GI endoscopy including colonoscopy.
• Respond to beeper calls with 1:1 patient ratio and 30-minute response time.
