Essentia Health in Detroit Lakes, MN seeks a BC/BE General Surgeon to join a growing practice with a full spectrum of services across family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedics, behavioral health, obstetrics/gynecology, podiatry, and dermatology.

The position offers 0.8–1.0 FTE with a 1:2 weekday call, and a schedule that includes clinic, surgery, endoscopy, and daytime outreach.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/board-eligible in General Surgery.
• ATLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide general, colorectal, laparoscopic surgery and endoscopy services.
• Join a practice with multiple specialties and a Trauma Level III hospital.
• Participate in a 1:2 weekday call and a 1:4 weekend/holiday community call.
• Weekly schedule includes clinic, surgery, endoscopy, and daytime outreach.
