The role involves general, thoracic, colon-rectal and oncologic surgeries with call shared among seven surgeons; Da Vinci robot and Smart OR are part of the equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to perform bread-and-butter general surgery.
• Teaching of medical students, residents and surgical fellows at EVMS.
• Employed practice with Sentara Medical Group

Responsibilities

• Perform general, thoracic, colon-rectal and oncologic surgeries.
• Teach medical students, residents and surgical fellows.
• Share call with 7 other surgeons; participate in a team-based surgical program.
