Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Wilmington, DE is seeking a General Surgeon to join as a wound care physician leading initiatives across skilled nursing facilities. This role offers a no-call lifestyle, Monday–Friday schedule, and clinical autonomy outside the hospital environment.

You’ll perform bedside debridement and non-OR procedures, manage chronic wounds, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Training is provided, with competitive compensation and a path to long-term, independent practice.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree MD or DO required.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• No wound care experience required; we provide comprehensive wound care training.

General Surgeon Requirements

• Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Medical License: Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one)
