Job summary

Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse, WI is seeking a full-time board eligible/certified General Surgeon to join an established practice. The role involves clinic-based consultations, dedicated procedure room-based clinic procedures, and hospital-based surgical and endoscopic cases.

You will work with a supportive team of nurses, APPs and WOCN staff in both clinic and hospital settings, serving an adult patient population. Candidates must be board-certified/board-eligible in General Surgery.

• Experience in general surgery and endoscopy.
• Fellowship training is not required.

Responsibilities

Successful candidates should possess excellent clinical skills.You may expect a busy practice in a physician-led, financially stable organization committed to both high quality care and patient satisfaction.

Candidates must be board-certified/board eligible in General Surgery. Surgeons must have training/experience and qualified skills in areas of general surgery and endoscopy. Fellowship training is not required to apply.The general surgeon will be responsible for providing clinic-based consultations, clinic procedures (dedicated procedure room in clinic space), surgical & endoscopic procedures in the hospital. You will have support from nursing, APP and WOCN staff in both clinic and hospital setting. The patient population is mostly adult.
