National Wound Physician Group in Hauppauge, NY is seeking a Part-Time General Surgeon to provide bedside wound care across post-acute facilities. This role offers autonomy, scheduling flexibility, and a focus on modern wound management with real-time documentation.

Part-time position requires at least 3 weekdays per week, with full-time options (4–5 days) also described. Expect a mobile practice visiting multiple facilities within a 40–60 mile radius, delivering care to about 20–30 patients

• Active unrestricted MD/DO license in the state you wish to practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside wound care in the post-acute care setting at SNFs and LTACHs.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Deliver modern wound management at the bedside and document care in real-time.
• Visit facilities within a 40–60 mile radius on a mobile practice.
• See approximately 20–30 patients per day across 2–3 facilities.
• W2 employment contract; paid training and wound care fellowship.
• No nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities.

Requirements

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
  

Practice Overview

• Full time work: Monday - Friday (7am-4pm) or part time available.
• No call / No weekend clinical responsibilities.
• Physicians deliver modern wound management at the bedside in the post-acute care setting: Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
• Our physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Part-time role is a minimum of 3 days per week. Full time role is 4 - 5 days per week.
• This is a mobile practice: The physicians visit facilities in a 40 – 60 mile radius of practice location.
• Our physicians visit 2-3 facilities per day treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.
• Clinical documentation is at point of care, in real-time during clinical rounds, using our proprietary wound specific EMR.
• Paid Training is provided during onboarding + 6 months wound care fellowship
• W2 employment contract (No work visa sponsorship is available)
