Job summary

Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV, is seeking a General Surgeon to join Lifepoint Health’s local team. You will provide broad general surgery expertise, perform minimally invasive procedures using the Da Vinci system, and collaborate with a 24/7 anesthesia team in a Level III trauma center.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with board certification in General Surgery.
• Active WV medical license or eligibility.
• Experience in robotic and minimally invasive surgery preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform broad general surgery procedures and endoscopy.
• Collaborate with anesthesia and SICU staff for perioperative care.
• Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to resident education.

• Modern Outpatient Surgery Center located in our on‑site Medical Office Building (MOB)
• Level III Trauma Center with a dedicated 12‑bed Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU)
