Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Beaumont, TX is seeking a General Surgeon to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This no-call opportunity allows weekdays Monday–Friday with options for part-time or full-time work, freeing evenings and weekends for family.

You will perform bedside debridement, wound assessment, and advanced dressings, while maintaining surgical skills in a less physically demanding setting.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited school.
• Unrestricted/clear medical license in the practicing state.
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open background; no specific wound-care experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and sharp debridement and bedside procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting, following patients through healing.

General Surgeon Schedule

We offer consistent weekday schedules with no nights or weekends, in part‑time or full‑time options:

General Surgeon Requirements

• Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Medical License: Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one)
