Job summary

Loenbro is seeking a Mechanical Superintendent to lead planning, scheduling, and supervision of commercial mechanical construction projects up to $200M. You will assist the Project Manager and coordinate crews, equipment, and subcontractors to meet budgeted outcomes.

The role demands 10+ years in construction, 7+ years in leadership of mechanical trades, and data center or mission-critical project exposure. Travel up to 75% and OSHA 30 certification are required.

Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction of large-scale commercial projects.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in a leadership role overseeing mechanical craft trades.
Previous experience working on data center or mission critical projects.
Completion of OSHA 30 or equivalent safety training.
Ability to travel at least 75% of the time.
Driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Review project schedules with Superintendents/Foreman and ensure critical activities stay on schedule.
Oversee field activities for commercial construction projects (power, data center/mission critical).
Document project field issues affecting budget, quality, or schedule and report to PM.
Respond to subcontractor requests for field issues impacting budget, quality, or schedule.
Supervise the daily work of employees.
Verify conformance of finished work and compliance with contract requirements.
Ensure all safety and environmental requirements are met; coordinate labor, equipment, and subcontractors for timely completion.

Job Summary

Responsible for planning, scheduling, employee oversite, and management of commercial mechanical construction projects up to $200M in value. Assists Project Manager in coordinating activities of employees engaged in construction process, utilizing knowledge of equipment, techniques, procedures, and specifications.This position is responsible for assisting craft supervision to coordinating activities of workers engaged in construction process, utilizing knowledge of equipment, techniques, procedures, and specifications.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Review project schedules with Superintendents/Foreman. Ensure that critical activities and decisions remain on schedule for the project management team.
Oversee field specific activities for commercial construction projects from setup to closeout related to industries including power, and data center / mission critical.
Document project field issues that impact budget, quality, or schedule, and provide to the project management team.
Respond to subcontractor requests for field issues that impact budget, quality, or schedule.
Supervises the daily work of employees.
Verifies conformance of finished work product, including overseeing compliance with all contract requirements.
Ensure all safety and environmental requirements are met.
Coordination of all labor, equipment, and subcontractor resources with Project subordinates and other Loenbro companies to ensure timely, cost-effective completion of project.

Minimum Qualifications

Required:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction of large-scale commercial projects.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in a leadership role overseeing mechanical craft trades.
Previous experience working on data center or mission critical projects.
Proficient with all Microsoft Office products.
Completion of OSHA 30 or equivalent safety training.
Ability to travel at least 75% of the time.
Driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Preferred:

Experience with HCSS Heavy Job or similar job costing program.
Experience with P6 or similar scheduling software.
Experience with Viewpoint or similar account software.
Experience with Heavy Bid or similar estimating software.
Engineering or Construction Management Degree preferred.
