Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day site and project operations from mobilisation through to completion.
• Lead, mentor and support supervisors, site managers, tradespeople and subcontractors.
• Coordinate labour, plant, materials, logistics and specialist resources to meet programme requirements.
• Monitor progress against agreed schedules, budgets, quality standards and performance targets.
• Review construction or operational plans and identify potential risks, delays and resource issues.
• Promote a strong culture of health, safety, environmental responsibility and continuous improvement.
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, legislation and procedures.
• Attend progress meetings, provide accurate updates and maintain clear project documentation.
• Support the resolution of technical, commercial and operational issues in a timely manner.

General Superintendent

An experienced General Superintendent is required to provide operational leadership across multiple projects, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standards. This is a senior position for a practical, organised professional who can coordinate teams, manage competing priorities and maintain strong working relationships with clients, contractors and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site and project operations from mobilisation through to completion.
• Lead, mentor and support supervisors, site managers, tradespeople and subcontractors.
• Coordinate labour, plant, materials, logistics and specialist resources to meet programme requirements.

About you

You will have substantial experience in a superintendent, senior site management or equivalent operational leadership role, ideally within construction, engineering, infrastructure, industrial or another complex project environment. You should be confident managing large teams and multiple work fronts, with a proven ability to deliver safe, high-quality results under demanding conditions.

Applicants should demonstrate strong knowledge of project planning, construction methods, risk management and relevant health and safety requirements. Excellent communication, decision-making and organisational skills are essential, together with the ability to build trust at all levels and remain calm when resolving challenges.
