Job summary

Blues City Cafe in Memphis, TN is seeking a General Store Retail Stocker to receive merchandise, unload or unpack it, stock shelves, and assist customers with orders across store, warehouse, and stockrooms.

You will mark items with identifying codes, ensure labels are clear, replace damaged or missing products, and help customers fill mail, web, and phone orders while keeping stock areas clean and organized.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Exceptional customer service and communications skills (both written and verbal)
• A positive attitude and great personal drive
• A willingness and ability to learn in a fast-paced retail sales environment
• Availibilty to work on weekends and holidays

• Mark items with identifying codes, such as price, stock, or inventory control codes
• Stock shelves with unpacked items
• Ensure label is clear and visible
• Help customers fill orders
• Complete customers mail, web, and phone orders by retreiving the ordered merchandise
• Prepare merchandise for shipment
• Ensure customer received product
• Replace damaged or missing products
• Work with salespeople on inventory and order
• Clean display cases, shelves, and aisle
• Keep stockroom, offers, storeroom area clean

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
