Job 158321 - General Store Retail Stocker
Memphis, TN

Responsible for receiving merchandise, unloading or unpacking it, marking it with codes to be identified, stocking shelves, and helping customers place orders. Works in store, warehouses, stockrooms, and other storage facilities. May involve heavy lifting.

• Accept delivered packages and ensure proper amount is inside
• Mark items with identifying codes, such as price, stock, or inventory control codes
• Stock shelves with unpacked items
• Ensure label is clear and visible
• Help customers fill orders
• Complete customers mail, web, and phone orders by retreiving the ordered merchandise
• Prepare merchandise for shipment
• Ensure customer received product
• Replace damaged or missing products
• Work with salespeople on inventory and order
• Clean display cases, shelves, and aisle
• Keep stockroom, offers, storeroom area clean

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Exceptional customer service and communications skills (both written and verbal)
• A positive attitude and great personal drive
• A willingness and ability to learn in a fast-paced retail sales environment
• Availibilty to work on weekends and holidays
• Valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation a MUST
• Both a pre-employment drug screen and background check are required for all applicants for this position
