Position: Shop Supervisor

Location: Chatsworth, CA

Salary Range: Salary Rate Based On Qualifications

Shift: Day Shift (6:15 am - 5:30 pm, Monday through Thursday)

Requirements

Essential Duties:

• Oversee and monitor production to ensure product quality
• Plan, develop, and implement policies, procedures, and work instructions
• Follow-up, expedite, counsel, and train department employees to maintain production schedules
• Report work in progress to the 2nd shift supervisor for smooth transition
• Assist in training new employees and support existing employees with questions
• Complete production employee performance reviews
• Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and optimize resources

Requirements:

• Good judgment, ingenuity, and integrity
• Prior experience managing personnel and products
• Minimum 5 years of supervision experience on the manufacturing floor
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience in the aerospace industry (aircraft) is a plus
