The Office represents the State of Florida in state and federal civil and criminal courts, from trial courts to the Supreme Court of the United States.

$45,000 to $49,000 Annually

Position Summary:

This General Services Analyst position is in the Office of the Attorney General within the Administrative Services - General Services in Tallahassee, Florida.This position is responsible for serving as the Leasing Liaison for the Office of the Attorney General (OAG).

Qualifications:
  • Four years of professional experience in general services/support services operations, purchasing, complex procurements, contracts, p-card management, telecommunications, and/or real property/facilities management; Or
  • AA in any degree area may substitute for two of the four years of required work experience. OR
  • BA in any degree area may substitute for the four years of required work experience .

Preference may be given to applicants with state General Services or Purchasing experience.

Preference may be given to applicants FCCM (Florida Certified Contract Manager).

The Work You Will Do:

This position’s duties include but not limited to the following:

  • Incumbent must work efficiently and effectively to ensure timely and accurate performance of all duties. Incumbent is responsible for knowing and complying with all statutes, rules, policies, and procedures applicable to the duties and responsibilities of the position.
  • LEASING - This position serves as the leasing liaison for the agency and between the Office of the Attorney General, Department of Management Services, tenant brokers, and property manager; provides strategic planning recommendations and options to management related to agency’s statewide real estate needs; assists in drafting and reviewing leasing solicitations; compiles agency leasing reports; provides detailed analysis of current and future office space needs; maintains leasing databases for tracking and reporting purposes; if necessary, performs lease action site visits, and reviews, and approved private and state lease invoices.
  • TELECOMMUNICATIONS – This position is the primary backup to the agency Phone Desk and Telephone Billing database; assists in reserving the agency conference rooms and setting up conference call-in numbers that come into the Phone Desk; assists with the ordering, assigning, and troubleshooting smart phones, cell phone issues, and fax lines; and assists with cell phone and conference line invoicing.
  • FACILITIES MANAGEMENT. – This position provides backup for the agency maintenance desk and assists with facility management services, drafting and updating of floor plans for all offices statewide. This position assists in tracking, monitoring, and coordinating special facility related projects, moves and all maintenance/tenant improvements identified in each leased office space.
  • PURCHASING - This position will assist in all aspects of Purchasing when needed.
  • OTHER DUTIES – This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, effective and efficient central filing system (physical and electronic), and following all unit work, communications, and supervision processes. Performs other duties relating to the responsibilities of the Bureau of General Services and customer support as required, including special projects as assigned by management.
  • Customer Services is an essential function of this position.
