Job summary

Circle K in Tampa, Florida is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to inspect, repair and service gasoline-related equipment, HVAC systems and building facilities at a busy store.

You will troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance, coordinate with service vendors, maintain safety and cleanliness, and ensure pumps, coolers and display boards operate reliably.

A strong manual dexterity and ability to lift up to 80 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3-5 years experience in the maintenance field.
• Must have the manual dexterity to operate equipment, work in confined spaces, use hand/electric cart, use power and hand tools, crouching/crawling, ladder use, and lift up to 80 lbs.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple, changing priorities and independently in a demanding setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintains equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning and preventive maintenance; tests leak detectors and product lines.
• Facilitates repairs by contacting service vendors for materials.

• Diagnoses and maintains walk-in coolers, novelty freezers, refrigerators and fountains.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

• Maintains equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning and maintaining gasoline related equipment; rpovides preventive maintenance; tests leak detectors and product lines.

• Maintains working climate by installing, repairing and servicing heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems.


• Keeps equipment, systems and building ready for use by completing preventive maintenance schedules; restoring and repairing faulty or inoperative HVAC systems and associated equipment; repairing and replacing doors, plumbing and tiles; painting; recommending changes and new HVAC installations.


• Maintains gas pumps by changing nozzles, hoses, splashguards, and filters and display boards.


• Ensures operationg of equipment by diagnosing, repairing and maintaining equipment such as walk-in coolers, novelty freezers, refrigerators and fountains.


• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
