Job summary

Midas Myrtle Beach 3294 is seeking a qualified general service technician to perform a wide range of automotive maintenance tasks. You will handle routine maintenance, inspections, tire service, battery replacement, and various shop duties in a fast-paced environment.

Entry-level candidates with automotive basics and a valid driver's license are welcome; strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work both independently and with peers are valued.

Qualifications

• Entry level technicians must have prior knowledge of automotive basics.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are valued.
• Deadline and detail-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance including fluid exchanges and oil changes.
• Visual safety and courtesy inspections.
• Mount, balance and rotate tires.
• Replacing batteries and bulbs, belts and hoses.
• Maintain clean and organized shop areas.
• Other shop maintenance tasks as needed.

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including fluid exchanges and oil changes
• Visual safety and courtesy inspections
• Mounting, balancing and rotating tires
• Replacing batteries
• Changing bulbs, belts and hoses
• Maintaining and cleaning shop areas
• Other shop maintenance items as needed
