Automotive Technician Overview:

The ability to effectively and accurately diagnose and repair a wide variety of vehicles is a must. A positive attitude and your own tools are also requirements. Emissions tester or ASE certifications a plus. At Midas, we are dedicated to providing quality services to customer vehicles in the areas of inspection, diagnosis, and repair utilizing the expertise attained through years of automotive repair experience. Automotive Technician Requirements:

1. Ability to repair vehicles independently while also having experience working well in a team environment.
2. Knowledge in automotive brakes, exhaust, suspension, & engine diagnostics.
3. Track record of high personal productivity.
4. Knowledge of and adherence to safety and environmental standards for repair facilities.

Automotive Technician Qualifications:

1. Experience using shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, tire balancers, wheel alignment equipment, etc.
2. High School Diploma or equivalent. Technical Degree or ASE certifications a definite plus.
3. Valid Driver's License that meets insurance guidelines.
4. Personally owned tools required to complete jobs independently.
