Job summary

Pep Boys / Mavis Tire in the Lancaster, PA area is seeking full-time General Service Technicians to support our automotive service, repair, and tire sales centers. Competitive weekly pay, weekly incentives, and paid on-the-job training help you build a lasting automotive career.

You will mount, balance tires, check fluids, perform basic maintenance, and work with experienced automotive professionals across a network of locations, with opportunities for advancement into leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Be reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on automotive environment.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.
• Performing flat tire repairs.
• Completing oil and filter changes.
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids.
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Following established safety and service procedures.
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles.
