Mavis Tires & Brakes is hiring General Service Technicians for our Skokie, IL centers. This full-time role offers paid training, competitive weekly pay, and opportunities to advance within the team as part of the Mavis Tire family.

As a General Service Technician, you’ll perform essential maintenance and tire services, with a focus on safety and quality. Candidates with automotive interest welcome; training provided at entry level under the guidance of experienced technicians.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Be reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Work well in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires
• Performing flat tire repairs
• Completing oil and filter changes
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Following established safety and service procedures
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles
