Job summary

T.O. Haas Tire Co in Lincoln, NE is seeking a General Service Technician to perform basic automotive services such as oil changes and tire work. You will be taught the job while you are paid, with opportunities to grow within the company.

Responsibilities include documenting vehicle condition, maintaining a clean shop, and safely driving customers or parts as needed. Competitive benefits and advancement opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• General understanding of under the hood, mechanical and under carriage assemblies.
• Valid Driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services.
• Utilizes the company’s Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order to properly document the vehicle condition.
• Maintains cleanliness of the shop to include the service area, tire racks, showroom and outside the building to maintain a clean and inviting appearance.
• Requires driving vehicles in a safe and courteous manner obeying all traffic laws.
