Qualifications

• This is an entry level position; a high school or equivalent diploma is preferred but not required.
• Occasionally lift and/or move over 50 pounds.
• Be able to work with hand-tools and in tight spaces.
• Drive manual transmission vehicles.
• Must navigate a computer and keep up a brisk work pace in a high-volume shop.

Responsibilities

• General Service Technicians / Mechanics perform maintenance and repair services including oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, suspension alignments, and more.
• Perform state-mandated vehicle emissions and safety inspections.
• Work with a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively.
• Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
• Ensure preventive maintenance reports are complete and accurate.
• Comply with federal, state, and local regulations (hazardous waste disposal, OSHA right-to-know).
• Assist in housekeeping functions as directed by Management.
• Communicate the extent of any damage or malfunctions to the service department.
• Follow and promote high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
