Easterns Automotive Group in Sterling, VA is seeking enthusiastic General Service / Lube Technicians to join our high-volume reconditioning team. This entry-level role offers on-the-job training and a clear path to growth across our 11 retail locations.

Qualifications

• Prior lube-tech or general service experience preferred—but not required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn new skills.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team.
• Good time-management and problem-solving abilities.
• Professional demeanor and effective verbal & written communication.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Capability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil and filter changes, rotate tires, and top-off fluids
• Conduct brake, tire, and basic safety inspections; document results
• Road-test vehicles to confirm service quality and diagnose simple issues
• Replace wiper blades, light bulbs, batteries, and other minor components
• Maintain clean, organized bay and follow all safety guidelines
• Complete service checklists and repair orders accurately and legibly
• Assist senior technicians with more complex repairs as needed
