Team Car Care Dba Jiffy Lube in Round Rock, TX is hiring a General Service Technician. As an entry-level GST, you’ll service guest vehicles with attention to quality and guest experience, supported by our training program that certifies your skills.

The role emphasizes teamwork, clear communication, and safety. You’ll maintain a clean service center, assist junior technicians, document work, and follow procedures while lifting up to 50 pounds and working in varied environments.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 months of customer facing experience (i.e. retail, food service, hospitality, etc.)
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, now or in the future
• Previous experience is preferred but not required
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
• Effective communication skills to interact with guests and teammates
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude; independently motivated, dependable, and a team player
• Physically able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform manual tasks including bending and squatting

Responsibilities

• Promote teamwork to deliver on time and accurate guest care during all operating hours
• Demonstrate excellent guest service, which includes providing clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles
• Ensure that the service center is clean and presentable
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior and mid-level automotive technicians
• Checking and communicating oil level to other teammates
• Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation
• Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary
• Complete vehicle inspection
• Install a new oil drain plug and a new oil filter
• Clean and lubricate fittings as needed
• Document all work performed on the repair order
• Report any safety issues immediately to management
• Maintain strict adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation
• Perform various manual tasks for extended periods, including lifting and standing

UNDER THE HOOD – WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and some holidays
• Commitment to adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
