Job summary

Team Car Care East, LLC is seeking a General Service Technician for our location at 2911 Old Nazareth Rd, Easton, PA 18045-2445. This full-time, entry-level role offers hands-on training and a clear pathway to certification in our services.

You will service guests' vehicles professionally, maintain a clean shop, and mentor junior technicians while promoting teamwork and excellent guest experiences. No sponsorship required; benefits available after probation.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 months of customer facing experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Effective communication skills with guests and teammates.
• Willingness to work weekends and some holidays.
• Physically able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform bending/squatting.

Responsibilities

• Promote teamwork to deliver on time and accurate guest care during all operating hours.
• Provide clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles.
• Ensure the service center is clean and presentable.
• Provide guidance to junior and mid-level technicians.
• Check and communicate oil level to teammates; ensure tire pressure and fluid levels are correct.
• Complete vehicle inspections and document all work performed on repair orders.
• Report safety issues immediately and adhere to company policies.
• Perform manual tasks including lifting and working in varied temperatures.

HOW YOU WILL DRIVE SUCCESS

• Promote teamwork to deliver on time and accurate guest care during all operating hours
• Demonstrate excellent guest service, which includes providing clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles
• Ensure that the service center is clean and presentable
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior and mid-level automotive technicians
• Checking and communicating oil level to other teammates
• Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation
• Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary
• Complete vehicle inspection
• Install a new oil drain plug and a new oil filter
• Clean and lubricate fittings as needed
• Document all work performed on the repair order
• Report any safety issues immediately to management
• Maintain strict adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation
• Perform various manual tasks for extended periods, including light and heavy lifting, including consumer tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting

UNDER THE HOOD - WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Must have at least 3 months of customer facing experience (i.e. retail, food service, hospitality, etc.)
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future
• Previous experience is preferred but not required
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
• Effective communication skills to interact with guests and teammates.
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude; independently motivated, dependable, and a team player
• Demonstrates responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to follow procedures, identify problems, and make sound decisions
• Physically able to stand for extended periods on hard surfaces, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform manual tasks including bending and squatting
• Willingness to work in varying temperatures, loud environments, and around exhaust fumes
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and some holidays
• Commitment to adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned
